Exploring Near Home...

On Thursday, I was invited to attend a guided garden tour of Green Springs Park and Garden Center, its a Fairfax County park with several demonstration gardens and a historic house and grounds.  It was invigorating taking time to explore these gardens with a Master Gardener as our guide.

What struck me most about the gardens, was how textural the different beds were....

It looks to be a hot and sunny weekend here in the mid-Atlantic region, and I am hoping to get a bunch of gardening done along with spending some quality time outside.
