Snowy Vermont Farmland 2

Snowy Vermont Farmland 2

Okay, I have to admit that the New England states hold a strong sense of mystique in my mind. Having only visited Boston twice in my life, I have a limited experience of the region. So maybe it is because I do not have much to go on from personal experience, that this year I am enamored with these northern states, and especially any picturesque snowy scene.

This is another landscape painting of Vermont farmland under a thick layer of snow. I can feel the hush in the air, and imagine how the distance is blurry because of the heavy snowfall… and the comfort and warmth of a crackling fire going inside somewhere cozy…

I’ve always wanted to live on the extreme East coast at least once, just to see what it’s like. Maybe ever since I watched Baby Boom. Beautiful landscape. I loved seeing how you framed the landscapes in your dining room, they’re so elegant. Also can’t wait to try making your thumbprint/heart cookies.

Carrie, I too relate to the movie Baby Boom and the idea of how it could be living in rural New England.
