Summer Images: Dalias

Dalias are one of my favorite flowers. The beautiful petals and intense patterning of the way the petals fold out into full bloom, capture my imagination.

When dalias begin to bloom I also know that summer is beinging to wane, as these beautiful flowers must have some coolness inorder to stay fresh and lovely. So we are entering August and the summer heat is beginning to falter here in DC. The evenings are beinging to have a crispness in the breeze that whispers of the cool autumn season that is around the corner.
